President Bola Tinubu has postponed his trip to Ogun State to visit Plateau State’s capital, Jos, on Thursday, following deadly gun attacks that killed dozens.
He’ll commiserate with the government and residents, condemning the attacks as “barbaric and cowardly” acts. Tinubu has directed security agencies to intensify efforts to track down perpetrators and curb misinformation.
After Jos, he will head to Lagos for Good Friday, then visit Ogun State on April 4 to commission projects, including the Gateway International Cargo Airport.
He will return to Lagos for Easter, commissioning infrastructure projects like the Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge. On April 10, before visiting Bayelsa State to commission projects completed under Governor Duoye Diri.
