President Bola Tinubu is set to inaugurate the Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge in Lagos on April 8 and 9, as part of a two-day working visit to the state. The bridge, a 5.04-kilometre infrastructure project, is expected to ease traffic congestion across key corridors, including Ojota, Maryland, Mende, Opebi, and Allen.
Other projects to be commissioned by the President include the Lagos State Geographic Information Service building, the Lagos Multi-Agency Building, the Tolu Schools Complex in Ajegunle, the Maracana Stadium with 19 mini-football pitches, and the Lagos Food Logistics Hub in Abijo.
The Tolu Schools Complex, described as the largest school community in Africa, comprises 36 schools serving over 20,000 students across primary, junior, and senior secondary levels. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu emphasized that education remains central to his administration’s vision for Lagos, ensuring every child has access to a quality learning environment.
