As Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, has urged believers to carry forward the lessons of the holy month. In a statement, Johnson emphasized that Ramadan has taught discipline, compassion, and obedience to Allah, and that these values should be sustained beyond the month-long fasting period.
Johnson noted that the past 30 days have shown that with faith and commitment, individuals can overcome habits previously thought impossible to abandon. He encouraged Muslims to continue cultivating spiritual growth, self-discipline, and compassion, reflecting on the profound lessons of Ramadan.
As the Muslim community marks the beginning of Shawwal 1447 A.H., Johnson’s message serves as a reminder to uphold the values and principles instilled during the holy month.
