*Egbin Power Plc, Nigeria’s leading power generation company, has taken another significant step in prioritizing employee welfare with the unveiling of 80 new residential housing units at its Egbin plant in Lagos State.

The new development, comprising 40 three-bedroom apartments and 40 studio apartments, is designed to provide a comfortable and secure living environment for employees and their families. According to Egbin Power’s CEO, Mokhtar Bounour, the investment underscores the company’s commitment to its workforce, despite the challenges facing the power sector.
“This significant expansion of our residential estate is a tangible expression of our commitment to ensuring our employees feel genuinely supported, allowing them to thrive both personally and professionally,” Bounour said.
The housing units are part of Egbin Power’s broader strategy to foster a motivated and future-ready workforce, with a focus on career development and recognition. Over the past three years, the company has promoted 112 employees and invested in training and development programs to enhance staff skills.
Egbin Power’s sustained investments in employee welfare demonstrate its belief that aligning employee well-being with organisational performance is key to driving sustainable growth.
