Former Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson has called for the ousting of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections, citing worsening conditions in the country.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Dickson blamed the APC-led federal government for the nation’s woes, stating that the party lacks a clear blueprint for developing the country.
He argued that the APC’s main focus in 2014 was to defeat then-President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 polls, rather than serving the nation.
“The APC has changed the country from bad to worse,” Dickson said. “If you say PDP was bad, whether it’s corruption, insecurity, or the economy, the situation has gotten worse under APC rule.”
Dickson cited increased corruption, insecurity, and economic challenges as evidence of the APC’s failure, urging Nigerians to vote the party out in 2027 [1].
