Former Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has felicitated with former Governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, on his 70th birthday anniversary, describing him as a brother and fellow partner in service to Nigeria.
In a birthday message issued on Tuesday, October 21, 2026, Obi said he was honouring not only an accomplished public servant but also a dear elder brother whose life has been dedicated to serving the Nigerian people.
The message titled “HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY TO MY BROTHER AND FELLOW PARTNER IN SERVICE TO NIGERIA, RABIU MUSA KWANKWASO” was personally signed by Obi.
Obi said over time he has come to deeply appreciate the bond between them, the many conversations they have shared, and their common commitment to Nigeria which continues to shape their service.
“Your path through the legislature, the Federal Executive Council, the governorship of Kano State, and national public life represents decades of experience, duty, and meaningful engagement with the Nigerian people,” Obi stated.
The former Anambra State Governor noted that turning seventy is not merely a significant milestone but a moment to look back with gratitude on a life devoted to service, the wisdom gained through experience, and the opportunities that remain ahead.
He reaffirmed their shared conviction and commitment to building a better Nigeria where no child is deprived of opportunity, no family is left in poverty, and every Nigerian can live with dignity, security and hope.
“As we continue to hope for and work toward a better Nigeria, I remain grateful for our partnership and for our shared conviction that our nation can become a place where no child is deprived of opportunity, no family is left in poverty, and every Nigerian can live with dignity, security, and hope,” he added.
Obi prayed for renewed strength, good health, wisdom and many more productive years for the former Defence Minister, wishing him peace, fulfilment and the satisfaction of seeing the values they both cherish take firmer root across the nation.
“My dear brother, may God bless you with renewed strength, good health, wisdom, and many more productive years. May the years ahead be filled with peace, fulfilment, and the satisfaction of seeing the values we cherish take firmer root across our nation,” Obi prayed.
“Warmest congratulations on your 70th birthday, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso @KwankwasoRM. I honour you on this special occasion and pray that the chapter ahead will be filled with abundant blessings and many more purposeful years,” he concluded.
