President *Bola Ahmed Tinubu* departed Abuja on Saturday for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave.
According to a statement by *Bayo Onanuga*, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the President’s first stop will be *London, United Kingdom*.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave,” the statement read.
The Presidency said the trip will also serve as a “working vacation.”
President Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria after the three weeks to resume full duties and join preparations for the *January 2027 general election*, which the statement described as “hectic.”
This is in line with the President’s practice of taking his annual leave in segments.
Further details of his engagements while abroad were not disclosed.
