Residents of Igando-Ikotun LCDA in Alimosho area of Lagos state groan over the worsening condition of Abaranje road.
Abaranje road has continuously remained neglected from its condition despite its vital role in connecting residents with Ikotun.
Successive government of the LCDA and its political representative have failed to muster courage to push for its reconstruction over the years rather resources are regularly spent on patching the road by the state.
With this year’s rain, it has worsened as motorist and commuters can no longer find their feet on the road each time it rains.
Alimosho has been reported by NEMA as the worst hit area by the flash floods from the rains with record of numbers of lives lost.
