The National Publicity Secretary, People’s Democratic Party Youth Alliance, PDPYA, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu, has called on leadership of South East and South South and the Governors not to allow the two geopolitical zones to slip through their hands as PDP will be working earnestly to take control of the other zones come 2023. Chief Kalu, one time gubernatorial Aspirant in Abia State and also the Director General of Global Initiative for Good Governance (GIGG), made this call in Abuja through a press statement he personally signed, insisting that only performance and touching the hearts of the masses by providing lacking infrastructures can make it easy. “I have always reiterated that 2023 politics will be different in many respects because expectations of Nigerians are high due to what they have experienced since this administration took over power.

“Therefore we do not expect anything less than the best as competition is going to be fierce. “I am calling on every PDP Governors to up their game by working harder upon the gains and progress they have made so that the people will be eager to vote PDP again in 2023. “It is a fact that the COVID-19 Pandemic had posed serious challenge to everyone, but it will not be a genuine excuse to slack in offering leadership to the people” he advised.

Chief Dr Kalu also assured Nigerians that 2023 will be a liberation year, and encouraged them to remain steadfast and hopeful no matter the challenges they face today.
