The Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA Honourable Morenike Adeshina Williams during her inspection of the on-going rehabilitation of the dilapidated drainages in Ikotun market on Friday gave marching order to the handlers of the job as she demanded the delivery f the repairs in the next two weeks.
The collapsed drainages which have become nightmare to the traders and their customers especially when it rains, she (Hon Williams) also urge traders to imbibe the culture of a cleaner environment by making sure that the market is kept clean at all time and avoid the habits of dropping waste in the gutters.
She reiterated that her administration’s pledge for a cleaner environment in line with the Cleaner Lagos Initiative of His Excellency, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and the need to providing infrastructures geared towards development of Igando-Ikotun LCDA.
