Residents of Mogaji Araromi street and environs of Ijegun community in Igando-Ikotun LCDA have cried out to Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (I.E.) to rectify the cause of their persistent poor power supply since December 2018.
According to a resident, Mr Mark who confirmed the situation, though he confessed of not being a member of the CDA executives said the light situation has degenerated to its worst state since December as the light comes on and goes off every five minutes each time it comes and has subjected the community to an untold hardship.
He noted that in his over five years of living in the community the has been considerably manageable going by Nigerian standard prior to December when it degenerated to an unbearable state with no any known reason of fault or damage;
He further stated that even at the current poor state IE has continued to bring their huge estimated bills which amounts to wickedness on the part of the DISCO and therefore appeal to them to rectify the problem if any or restore their power to its former state as there is limit to the current situation.
