Following the complains of her consumers on estimated billing system and her promise to install about 85,000 prepaid meters in a fresh phase of prepaid meters installation, Ikeja Electric Distribution Company ( IKEDC) has commenced installation of free prepaid meters in some parts of Alimosho LGA.

Staff of the contracting company were seen installing the free prepaid meters in the Ifedapo CDA of the local government area. Residents of the neighborhood could not hide their emotions as they were seen providing required cooperating with the workers in making sure that the exercise is hitch free and even providing them with safe space to stock their materials and personal effects.
