The Executive Chairman Alimosho local government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has appealed to motorists plying Akowonjo road for patient and bear with the government while the road maintenance is on going.
The Chairman stated this while inspecting the road today in company of LASTMA officials deployed to monitor and manage traffic in the area.
He said, the road being a state route witnesses heavy traffic daily thus the need to carry out the repair for easy movement on the road.
Hon. Jelili however admonished motorists to be guided while the maintenance is ongoing adding that they should comply with traffic diversion by Vulcanizer bus stop to connect MicCom bus to Egbeda.
He equally asked the contractor to expedite action on the construction of the collapsed drainage by Baale bus stop inward Egbeda to allow free flow of flood.
